How the Solar Engineer Internship Program Works

We start you off as a Solar Install and Maintenance Engineer (Solar I&M Engineer), as a commission paid intern
We train you on our solar design, installation, and maintenance and customer service processes
In 3-6 months there is a performance review, you work with management to decide which full-time career path is suited for both you and our needs
Our top engineers will move from Solar I&M to Crew Lead to Regional Head under the guidance of our Chief Engineer

Uinta Solar is a high-end, solar energy systems provider. We are based in US and expanding into Pakistan. We are collecting resumes for potential multiple, full-time, solar installation and/or maintenance positions. We prefer electrical or solar engineers, including bright and talented entry level candidates.

You will be part of a 3-person installation/maintenance team based from a location of need. In the near term, we are only focusing on clients in the Islamabad/Rawalpindi area. You will be based in our Islamabad office but must be willing to travel and/or relocate throughout Pakistan if needed.

With Uinta, as an experienced Solar I&M Engineer, you can expect to make the following compensation:

· Commission of at least 15,000-25,000 PKR per install

· You will qualify for potential bonuses and profit sharing

Qualifications

· Must be able to read, write and speak English and Urdu fluently

· Strong work ethic, have pride and take ownership of work

· Must be committed to delivering quality and customer service on every project

· Work well with others in a team environment

· Thrives in an environment with high-level of autonomy and responsibilities

· Must be able to lift over 23 kg, climb ladders, and work on roofs

· Must be able to learn and follow instructions

· Must be able to use hand and power tools related to the job

· Must be willing to travel and relocate anywhere in Pakistan as needed

· 1-3 years of electrical/solar experience preferred

Responsibilities

· Participate as a safe and efficient member of an installation and/or maintenance team

· Perform installation and/or repair work directed by the Crew Leader and project drawings

· Understand and follow safety procedures and regulations at all project sites

· Work courteously with customers at the time of installation and/or support work

· Load and secure project materials and tools in trucks and trailers

· Perform service calls, including system diagnosis and repair

· Minor repairs or maintenance of vehicles.

· Responsibilities may include driving company vehicles
