Duty station South Sudan (Project Scope of Work)
Reports To: Foreman/Supervisor
Basic Function and Scope:
Undertakes the implementation and execution of all flushing activity plans and schedules to meet the Production Department objectives of maximising efficient production.
Assists in the development and implementation of the maintenance management systems.
Assists in the preparation of the annual maintenance operating (OPEX) and capital (CAPEX) budgets for the flushing.
Undertakes all activities under his control to ensure that the Company Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) policies and procedures are fully implemented and adhered to, so that Loss Prevention is maximised.
Tasks and Duties:

Reviews "hot and cold work permits" to ensure safe operational completion of flushing maintenance activities.
Undertakes all activities to achieve work quality in accordance with the Company QA/QC standards and procedures.
Undertakes the maintenance, diagnosis and repair of faults to flushing equipment. Determines causes for faults and carries out necessary repairs. Prepares mechanical, electrical & instrument safety isolation and work procedures. Installs and modify lines for flushing works.
Reviews work to be done, orders mechanical, electrical & instrument parts required, inclusive of spares and proceeds with the work. Tests completed work for safe and satisfactory operation.
Ensures that all mechanical, electrical & instrument maintenance work is performed in accordance with Company regulations.
Undertakes and supervises regular maintenance work schedules to meet operational work programmes efficiently. Includes developing preventive maintenance based on manufacturers’ recommendations, discussing progress reports and determining directional objectives.
Assists the production staff during all plant or equipment start-ups and shut-downs.
Assists in the preparation of the annual maintenance operating (OPEX) and capital (CAPEX) budgets for the flushing facilities.
Assists in the supervision and control for the requirements of spare parts, consumables, equipment and maintenance tools. Supervises the preparation of the detailed annual stock set-ups in conjunction with concerned personnel. Recommends replenishment of materials, based on expected consumption.
Participates in the investigation of suggestions for plant modifications and improvements. Reviews plant modification proposals and discusses specific project proposals with project and discipline engineers and operations staff to determine priorities.
Assists in the administration and monitoring of various contractors involved in the provision of maintenance services for flushing. Includes supervising the identification of requirements, the preparation of tender documents, answering bidders queries, carrying out technical and commercial evaluations of the bids and recommending successful bidders.
Undertakes other similar or related duties such as keeping abreast of the latest manufacturers catalogues, preparing reports on historical performance of flushing machinery and equipment.
Qualification & Experience
Possess minimum certificate in engineering or equivalent.
Possess minimum 8 years experience in plant operation as an Electrical Technician in oil & gas facilities

The duration of this CONTRACT shall commence from the Effective Date and remain in force for a period of twelve (12) calendar months or until terminated earlier as provided herein the CONTRACT.
Client reserves the right to extend this contract for an additional twelve (12) months; by giving at least thirty (30) days notice prior to expiry of the initial Contract period.
The client Responsibilities
Client will provide transport within the field WORK SITES.
Client will provide accommodation and meals to the personnel are on work rotation at the field WORK SITES.
Client will provide first aid and medical facilities on work rotation at the field
Client will provide visa
Supplier Responsibilities
To provide CV’s of 250 prospective candidates
To ensure that candidates fit into the job description attached along.
To provide air-tickets to and from destinations for candidates.
To replace any unsuitable candidates at no extra cost to the client
To confirm the offered monthly rate for each category (monthly rate will include 15% for local tax)
(Candidates are required to work 6 working days in a week and each working day comprises of 12 hours)
