Application Support Engineer

Undertake responsibilities in supporting UBL’s run the bank agenda by ensuring desired uptime of Banking & Allied Applications. This includes Core banking, Internet, Mobile, Middleware and Data applications.

Main Responsibilities include:

Work with cross functional teams to identify and resolve root cause of a problem Work with users and vendor on issues, maintain effective follow-up, and drive resolutions of application bugs Perform due diligence of solutions/applications, when taking over from project / application development teams Provide on-call support and after-hours/weekend support as needed, covering application support Perform system review and propose improvement and prevention measures on current systems Perform root cause analysis of production problems and provide quick-kill ‘service recovery’, if possible Have a quality mind-set with prevention attitude to attain zero defect.

Eligibility/ Skills Req:Knowledge of Java/.NET programming, MEAN / MERN Stack, Oracle, IBM IIB, and cloud based technologies

Essential to have a can do attitude to work under high-pressure multi-tasking environment

Good Communication Skills
