Job Description:
· Check web pages finally before making them live.
· Writing content for company’s Ecommerce website and software.
· Develop ideas derived from online/offline research and organize the same on paper or computer applications.
· Proof reading, editing and writing content on a regular basis for building up the website including informative short articles.
· Sort out workable ideas by a process of elimination and keep eliminated ideas stored for future reference.
· Writing web content for websites / portals from scratch.
· Editing and Proof reading content once written.
· Writing product descriptions, brand support material etc.
· Write fresh content based on research and brainstorming by following instructions provided for each type of document.
· Develop engaging content for articles, blogs, stories and social media to entice and engage audience.
· Ensure that web page content is edited properly to increase on-screen readability.
· Think up titles for each piece of content keeping appropriateness in check.
· Develop prototypes and storyboards using a multitude of media creation and graphics editing tools.
· Other duties as required.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- · Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering or any other relevant discipline.
- · Minimum 3 year experience in software content development is mandatory.
- · Familiarity with search engine optimization writing techniques.
- · An effective writing style that is fresh, consistent and customer friendly. A knack for editing and proof reading with good research skills.
- · Ability to write in a variety of formats and styles for multiple audiences.
- · An understanding of keywords and meta tags - Ability to write web page titles, meta tag descriptions, alt tags for images etc.
- · Hands on experience and knowledge of the blogging.
- · Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
- · Experience sourcing and managing content development and publishing.
- · Experience in Google plus, Google Ad.
- · Strong Communication skills (both written and verbal), Impeccable English writing skills at a professional level.
- · Excellent Microsoft Office Suite skills.
- · Positive attitude, detail and customer oriented with good multitasking and organizational ability.
