Vertex Chemicals (Pvt) ltd. is a leading construction chemicals company in Pakistan, providing a host of chemical solutions for improving, repairing, protecting and decorating of construction assets.
Our clients/portfolio includes many of the most iconic names of Pakistan including Bahria Icon Towers, Nestle, Tarbela Hydropower dam, Lahore Orange line, Shaukat Khanam Hospital and many more.
R&D is at the heart of our business and as part of our growing footprint, we are currently looking to a Chemist, who will be an integral part of our R&D, as well as our Quality Control initiatives.
You will report directly to the R&D Manager and be part of some truly exciting and novel projects.
This is more than just a dictated role and we are looking for a candidate who can take initiative to make positive and lasting changes to the factory operations.

Responsibilities:

Assist the R&D Manager in new product development and produce relevant reports.
Ensure all lab records are up to date and organized.
Be responsible for Quality Control of batches and report to the manager. Ensure all batch records are organized.
record of all quality cases raised by the sales and marketing teams and ensure that they are catered to in a timely manner.
Research on key topics, as directed by the manager and produce reports.
Ensure that the lab equipment is kept in an orderly manner and all relevant SOPs are respected.

Qualifications:

Min. Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or similar. Master's degree will be preferred.
At least 1 year lab experience, preferably at a coatings company. Fresh graduates with exceptional academic achievements can also be considered.
Solid Research skills demonstrated either professionally or academically.
proven project management skills.
Sound Excel abilities.

Salary: 40K-50K per month

Additional benefits include fuel allowance, company sim and phone bill. Vehicle, as per HR policy, may be offered after completion of probation period.
