We are looking for an Energetic People and Culture Manager (Female) to join our Software Company and support the day-to-day activities of our Human Resources department.

Policies and Procedures:

  • Crafted policies and processes for two separate Employee Handbooks (local and international workforce) from scratch, which overlooked all facets of corporate needs.
  • Supervise the Human Resources function to ensure that advice and support are provided to managers and staff on interpretation and application of policies and procedures and on other HR related matters.
  • Supervise the development & implementation of HR practices and processes aligned with the organizations overall strategy & Quality Standards to meet the evolving needs of the organization.

Plan, develop and implement the organizational culture and structural transformation.

Staff Recruitment and Retention:

  • Closely work with the program development teams in designing the structures and provide assistance in project structures. 
  • Ensure appropriate recruitment, retention and succession of staff including orientation programs
  • In collaboration with Finance, ensure maintenance of updated information on staff salaries, allowances and income tax calculations in compliance with current laws and regulations
  • Monitor and evaluate recruitment and placement related activities of the field office, while ensuring adherence to policies and procedures in filling these posts and recommend changes or corrections related to procedures.
  • Share recruitment matrix and related information

Performance Management and Staff Development:

  • Designed a thorough performance appraisal framework, with relevant performance evaluation criteria (including KPI, the timeline for deliverables, and associated Rewards and Benefits Programs.
  • Ensure that performance reviews are conducted regularly by supervisors; provide training and advise to managers on effective implementation of performance management
  • Lead on refresher training for staff in HR policies and procedures including performance management
  • Monitor and advice on disciplinary matters in consultation with Compliance and Legal section accordance with established policies and procedures
  • Mediate conflict, grievances and harassment cases
  • Advice and counsel staff in respect of rights, responsibilities, code of conduct and difficulties associated with work related matters.

On-going Activities:

  • Preparing and supervising contract letters
  • Managing with other departments for successful planning and roll out of HR related events and activities
  • Processing of final settlement of staff left as per Service standards.
  • Ensure that leave record of all provincial staff is maintained. Maintain timesheet record and provide effort report working hours to provincial finance team.
  • Manage and Conduct the Training and Development Programs.
  • Planned and implemented Human Resource expense budget (including forecasted personnel costs, operational costs, entertainment costs).
  • Oversee Employee Learning and Development programs and activities.
  • Event Management, Merchandise Procurement, and Logistics.
  • Directed Team Lead level trainings (KPI scoring, Bias free evaluations, Employee motivation techniques, Conduction of impactful one-on-ones with subordinates)
  • Processing of final settlement of staff left as per Service standards.
  • Any other task assigned by supervisor.

Required Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree preferably in HR/OD/OB.
  • Certification from SHRM, CIPD would be an added advantage.
  • Substantial, proven HR experience, including recruitment, selection, performance management, reward, employee relations, change management, learning and development, diversity and exposure to organizational development at senior level.
  • Understanding of the complexities of working in a multicultural environment.
  • Initiative and motivation to work independently and develop solutions to problems. Highly flexible in style with the ability to produce creative and pragmatic solutions to complex problems.
  • A good communicator with strong written and reporting skills, and an excellent ability to influence others. Ability to manage and supervise finance and non-finance staff in multiple and remote locations.

Experience

  • Overall 7+ years (with master’s degree) of relevant experience.
  • Ability to work independently and provide initiative in improving HR functions.
  • To establish good working relationships with a variety of people.
