Associate/Snr. Associate Financial Planning & Analysis

Your role
This position will be based out of Islamabad Office and will take on responsibility for financial planning and analysis, budgeting and forecasting and executive management reporting areas for VisionX and its associated companies. This position will interact extensively with internal departments as well as external stakeholders in Pakistan and USA.

This position will get increased exposure to senior executives within this high growth start-up and is expected to present accurate and timely high-level financial and management results, KPIs and forecasts with clarity and precision to senior management.

Daily activities
·Plan and drive the annual budgeting exercise across the organization and oversee its compliance on a monthly basis including variance analysis (actual vs. budget vs. forecast).
·Partner with functional managers across the organization to develop, monitor and report key financial and nonfinancial metrics/KPIs to leadership team, senior management and external stakeholders.
·Develop financial forecast models including long term business plans, investment appraisal and pricing models and support adhoc analysis.
·Participate in the organization's strategic planning process and develop a deep understanding of industry trends, key business/ cost drivers, accounting policies etc.
·Implement, and continuously refine periodic rolling forecast process for all business units, companies, including full P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow, Capital Expenditure view.
·Support future debt or equity financing processes through production of forecasts, presentations, and responding to due diligence requests.
·Continuously monitor, recommend and implement process improvement initiatives to increase effectiveness and productivity.
·Gain an in-depth understanding of core business activities, objectives and management needs.
·Champion and lead adoption of new and emerging technologies, master data governance
and adherence, analytics and business intelligence tools.
Proactively identify business issues, communicate and implement timely solutions.
 
Qualifications
·Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Finance or related area or equivalent professional qualification. MBA / experience in IT/SaaS / Technology start-up would be an asset but not required.
·3 + years of finance experience in an analytical role (preferably FP&A) with a good understanding of Financial Statements.
·Prior experience developing budgets, strategic finance plans and forecasts.
·Hands on numeric, analytical and excel skills with the ability to build highly structured models to analyze large volumes of data and synthesize analysis into a succinct output.
·Communicate clearly and professionally, both orally and in writing.
·Maintain the highest level of confidentiality while working with sensitive data.
