Leading the Chemistry Function of organization
Advising, guiding the overseeing the end to end lab and R&D operations of fertilizer, micronutrients testing and development.
Prepare compounds, test solutions, and reagents to conduct tests and experiments, advising and coordinating on test procedures on raw materials, finish goods and R&D products
Taking sample from production as per SOP, testing, analyzing, and reporting the results within defined timeframe
Induce reactions to chemical substances with light, energy, heat and chemical catalysts to document behavior and result.
Document findings in technical papers and reports, preparing specifications and testing standards
Refine chemical products to improve their quality and provide an active input to production and plant manager on improving quality and recipes of products
Maintaining the active list of each product recipe/BOM and continuously monitoring the variations and variance in production.
Supervise the development of new product prototypes and samples
Developing workflow policies and procedures that improve efficiency of lab work without compromising safety or quality
Communicating regularly with Plant Manager regarding problems or issues impacting production/Quality
Analyze organic and inorganic compounds to determine their composition
Conduct qualitative and quantitative experiments considering the volume and structure of ingredients
Developing, improving, and customizing products, equipment, formulas, processes, and analytical methods.
Maintaining laboratory instruments, troubleshooting malfunctions, and purchasing new laboratory supplies.
Evaluating and ensuring compliance with laboratory safety procedures and standards.

Minimum Skill Set required;

Ability of operator:

Flame Photometer
Spectrophotometer
HPLC

Minimum testing knowledge of:

N, P, K, Mg, Mn, Boron, Sulfur, Organic Matter, Zin, Cac, EC, Humic, Solubility, Strength testing, and fertilizers evaluations
