Responsibilities:
- Understanding the features and working with the product owner to identify acceptance criteria.
- Working with the lead developers to build an effective testing strategy
- Working with the developer to understand the feature approach and writing down test scripts / cases
to test the acceptance criteria
- Manual or automated testing of the test scripts or test cases
- Reporting of bugs and errors to development team
- Generating reports and documentation for each feature and release to a standard that could be
provided as release notes to clients
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a QA tester or similar role in web testing
- Experience in QA methodologies and approaches
- Familiarity with Agile frameworks and regression testing is a plus
- Ability to document and troubleshoot errors
- Working knowledge of automated testing software is a plus
- Excellent communication skills
- Attention to detail
- Analytical mind and problem-solving aptitude
- Strong organizational skills
- BSc/BA in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field
