vServices is a UK-based IT solutions provider. We are a team of talented developers working together to build exciting and robust applications for growing businesses. We are seeking a Front-End Web Developer who is motivated to combine the art of design with the art of programming. Responsibilities will include translation of the UI/UX design wireframes to actual code that will produce visual elements of the application. You will work with the UI/UX designer and bridge the gap between graphical design and technical implementation. Taking an active role on both sides and defining how the application looks as well as how it works.
Ultimately, you should be able to create a functional and attractive digital environment for our company, ensuring great user-experience.
This role will be based at our Karachi office.
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field
Experience:
2 to 3 years
Key Competencies
Take a look at the following requirements:
· Proficient understanding of web markup, including HTML5, CSS3
· Basic understanding of server-side CSS pre-processing platforms, such as LESS and SASS
· Proficient understanding of client-side scripting and JavaScript frameworks, including jQuery
· Good understanding of SEO principles and ensuring that application will adhere to them
· Interest to learn latest trends
· Experience with HTML5, CSS3, LESS/SAAS, JavaScript, jQuery, jQuery UI, and Bootstrap
· Basic understanding of code versioning tools such as Git / Mercurial / SVN
· Basic knowledge of image authoring tools, to be able to crop, resize, or perform small adjustments on an image.

Key Responsibilities
· Use mark-up languages like HTML to create user-friendly web page
· Maintain and improve website
· To have close coordination with Product Owners, Managers, and System Engineers within SCRUM framework
· To be fully responsible for the layout, visual appearance and usability of designs
· Optimize applications for maximum speed
· Collaborate with back-end developers and web designers to improve usability
· Develop new user-facing features
· Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs
· Optimise application for maximum speed and scalability
· Assure that all user input is validated before submitting to back-end
· Ensure high-quality graphic standards and brand consistency
· To help production team understand the design concept and develop it the way it was conceived
· Design in a clean, well-structured way
· Deliver work output on time and in high-quality
· Analyse and interpret functional requirements and specifications for new websites through close interaction with other departments and web teams
· To work independently as a self-starter on long-term projects with an effective project management, feedback as well as quick turnaround of short-term projects
· To maintain a positive, proactive and professional demeanour towards customers, colleagues, and management
