Responsibilities:

Building interactive consumer data from multiple systems and RESTfully abstract to the UI through a Node.js backend
Define code architecture decisions to support a high-performance and scalable product with a minimal footprint
Address and improve any technical issues
Collaborate and give directions to engineers, researchers, and data implementation specialists to design and create advanced, elegant and efficient systems

What You Need for this Position

4+ years working experience
BSCS or related
Our tech stack is NO SQL/SQL, Express/React/Node.js/Redux.
Experience with REST and REST based integrations
Experience leveraging deployment containers (Docker/Kubernetes)
Familiarity with AWS services, particularly S3, ECS and Lambdas
Design and implementation of the overall web architecture
“Pixel-perfect” implementation of our approved user interface
Design and deployment of our database
Ensuring the entire stack is designed and built for speed and scalability
Design and construction of our REST API
Design and implementation of continuous integration and deployment

Skills

At least four years experience with: writing HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Being up on latest practices is a must, e.g., HTML5, CSS3, and ECMAScript 6
Back-end programming language {Node.js}
Database design and management, including being up on the latest practices and associated versions
Server management and deployment for the relevant environment
Thorough understanding of user experience and possibly even product strategy
Experience implementing testing platforms and unit tests
Proficiency with Git and repository management
Appreciation for clean and well documented code
Team management and mentorship experience
Hands on experience with linux framework and proficiency with Bash
Experience with Nginx and load balancer
Experience with system security would be a plus.
