IFP Process and System Officer

On top of that you'll be joining a 2020 Great Place to Work® award-winning organisation.WaterAid's Institutional Funding and Partnerships (IFP) team is responsible for securing and managing restricted funding to deliver the organisation's programme ambition. The Contracts & Compliance unit within IFP ensures the enabling environment is in place for the effective management of restricted income.As our proactive and detail-oriented Funding Process and Systems Officer in Contracts & Compliance you will support the unit in managing the funding business process and the system that facilitates this process, and ensuring quality of funding data in a bespoke system. As a key part of your role, you will provide training to system users and improve guidance materials and communications.The post is a full-time fixed term employment contract for two years. The location can be flexible, subject to your eligibility to work in the country you indicate in your application. This is an office-based post in a country where WaterAid has an established office.

In this role you will:

•  Improve data quality in relevant systems and support capacity strengthening among users through training, communications and technical support.
•  Monitor system data quality and liaise with colleagues to improve quality.

You will work with other colleagues to build and roll out a Power BI for monitoring quality and trends.

• Provide inductions and refresher training on the restricted funding process and system, and improve guidance and training materials.
• Respond to user queries and provide trouble shooting support, including the technical resolution of system bugs and liaising with internal IT support and external developers on implementation of change requests.

To be successful, you'll need:

• Degree in a relevant subject or equivalent experience
• Ability to learn new systems quickly
• Knowledge and understanding of funding cycles in a non-profit organisation
• Skills and experience in working with large and complex data sets
• Skills and experience in delivering software-user training and support service to a non-technical audience
• Excellent problem solving and communication skills

Salary:

The UK-based salary for this role is £28,128 - £33,300 subject to experience with excellent benefits, national salary scales will apply for other locations. Salary and benefits for other countries will vary in line with that WaterAid country's salary scale. Benefits for UK based include:
