The Accounting Manager will be responsible for working very closely with one of our clients which operates in marketing services across the United States of America. The position would require the selected candidate to work from 7pm – 3am Pakistan Standard Time. The ideal candidate will be very proactive, takes ownership of the work, is detail oriented, is process oriented, and driven by problem solving.
Primary Responsibilities:
• Reviewing and approving journal entries of Staff Accountants in NetSuite on a daily basis
• Training and mentoring 2-3 offshore Staff Accountants
• Addressing the entity’s accounting and other related matters assigned as first point of contact
• Review the Bill.com report on weekly basis for appropriate classification, and to identify unusual items where follow up is needed.
• Review the Concur reports for appropriate classification, and to identify unusual items where follow up is needed.
• Updating JIRA (project management tool) with the weekly and monthly tasks and updating the direct Managers regarding the progress.
• Reviewing the Bank reconciliations and Balance sheet reconciliations monthly
• Reviewing the Income statement analytics monthly.
• Review and update monthly task list
• Complete monthly, quarterly and annual financial close
• Review and distribute entity their monthly reporting packages
• Facilitate in clarifying the variances during monthly reporting process
• Coordinating more complex accounting projects and initiatives with other members of the accounting and finance team or with other departments
• Thrive in an unstructured environment and apply lean methodologies in supporting an excellent accounting and finance function within the organization.
• Heavily involved in accounting for the acquisition and integrating entities into Integrity Finance processes
• The Account Manager will be responsible for all the accounting for their assigned subsidiaries; reviewing entries posted by local admin, posting new entries, reconciling bank accounts and performing balance sheet reconciliations for all accounts in the general ledger.
• Heavily involved in the interim and year end audit process.
• Various other duties, projects as assigned.
