Position Summary :
Webryze is setting up a Lahore office and we are searching for a social media savvy Content Manager/Editor to build and lead a team of content writers/producers. If you are looking for a career opportunity in online publishing or management and gain international experience in digital marketing then this is the perfect role for you.
Ultimately your job is to take complete ownership of the content production process and work with a team to deliver quality content in a timely manner for client websites . This will include:
Ensuring that all content is on brand, consistent in terms of style, quality, and tone of voice, and optimized for search and user experience
Managing a functional content calendar to manage the content deliverables for assigned client websites
Hiring, mentoring and managing a team of content writers to achieve short and long term content production goals
Setting editorial and style guidelines and being an arbiter of best practices in grammar, messaging, writing, and style
Developing standards, systems, and best practices (both human and technological) for content creation
Following and improving the workflow for requesting, creating, editing & publishing content
Working with technical, design and social media team to publish content
Experience & Education
Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Public Relations, or related communications field is a plus
1 to 3 years of experience in content writing/editing in a similar or comparable role
HR related experience is a plus
The Content Manager requires a combination of a marketing and publishing mindset with the following skill set:
Excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills
Well versed in best practices for online content publishing (blogs & social media)
Basic understanding of search engine optimization & social media marketing and how it applies to content marketing
Team hiring, management, leadership & collaboration skills
Familiarity with content writing tools such as grammarly ,copy scape and others
Familiarity with Wordpress, MS office, Google Drive & Dropbox
Benefits & Compensation:
We are offering a competitive starting salary package in the PKR 50-80K range based on experience and job fit. Our office is centrally located in Model Town so hopefully you won’t have to commute too much.
