We require Solar PV Technician who will be responsible for assembling, installation or mantainance of Solar Power systems. 

Responsibilities

  • Understand solar panel installation plans, mapping out the steps of the installation.
  • Install, inspect and mantain solar panels, inverters and battery banks.
  • Perform all work needed to connect solar system to electric grid.
  • Program, adjust, or configure inverters and controls for desired set points and operating modes.
  • Perform all levels of maintenance on solar power system equipment including, but not limited to inspection PM’s, battery tests and replacements, load banks, capacitor and fan replacements.
  • Complete all assigned tasks in a timely manner.
  • Take ownership of an assigned task and see it through to a successful completion.
  • Comply with all company policies, procedures and standards.
  • Comply with HSE routines.
  • Perform minor civil and mechanical work required for assembling support structures, battery racks etc.

Physical Requirements

  • Heavy physical effort when required.
  • Work in adverse weather conditions as needed.
  • Ability to work on rooftops with various angles and surfaces.
  • Push/pull or move/lift equipment, supplies, and parts.
  • Prolonged, extensive standing/walking.
