Senior Back-end Engineer (PHP)

Zeropoint IT is A Belgian company working in Pakistan since 2007. we are providing a learning and a creative environment.We are looking for a Senior Backend Engineer (PHP) for managing back-end services. The ideal candidate will be working on highly scalable applications using Laravel 5.x+/ Symfony 4.x+ frameworks. Your primary focus will be the development of all server-side logic, definition, and maintenance of the central database. You will be ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front-end Work within a cross-functional team on a product or platform to define, design, and ship new features.

What are we looking for?

8-10+ Years of experience in PHP Development using a modern framework Laravel / Symfony / Yii / Zend.
Knowledge of laravel ecosystem will be a huge plus (Horizon / Telescope etc)
Excellent understanding of Git process flow and usage of Git.
Write code using SOLID design principles and follow TDD approach with 100% code coverage.
Ability to use caches efficiently (Redis / Memcache)
Knowledge of ELK stack a will be a huge plus.
Basic knowledge of golang (Http library)

Advanced level Elastic search experience (Query DSL / Mapping types/ Aggregations)
Familiarity with Linux Operating System and Command Line Interface
AWS cloud services (S3, Cloudfront, Route 53, etc)
Basic knowledge in at least one message queue system (Rabbit-MQ / Kafka)
Works well under pressure.
Excellent communication skills for being a direct point of contact with the customer.
Flexible skills to be able to learn new technologies quickly and easily migrate between different PHP and Non-PHP based technologies.

You will be building and maintaining applications and platforms mainly using PHP 7+. latest software design patterns, architecture and more. Build and maintain APIs for front-end or mobile applications using secure, scalable backend code. Work directly with product owners, managers, and clients on product vision and new features.
