The business analyst’s primary objective is helping businesses implement technology solutions in a cost-effective way by determining the requirements of a project or program and communicating them clearly to stakeholders, facilitators, and partners.

A little bit about you:

We require someone who acquired the skill of providing solutions to business problems, or to advance a company’s sales efforts, begins with defining, analyzing, communicating, and documenting requirements and efforts. The business analyst will be playing around the numbers and will be implementing and updating the procedures. Able to give his/her suggestion to improve business processes flows keeping in view the prime focus is to earn profits.

Role Description:

Business Analyst will become the point of contact for all data, red flags, feedback, documentation, and information. The goal is to facilitate an effective and efficient Business Development team, maximize team performance, and driving company profits.

Key Tasks:

• High-quality analysis and reports, driving BD team towards successful and more profitable deals
• Integrate, assemble, summarize, validate, and disseminate data from numerous systems/sources (Switch, BI files, databases, etc.) to present data related recommendations to BD
• Work towards analyzing incoming data, understand their impact on statistical models and deliver data-based business insights and findings
• Identify anomalies within the data, comply with all Best Practices and Data Protocols, ask relevant questions on how to interpret data
• Challenge internal teams for constant improvement and innovations
• Identifying margins from windfall
• Build effective deals for BD to initiate a stronger relationship with clients/support functions alike, to ensure the efficient and effective use of data
• Work on third party modelers to deliver business insights and findings, when/if needed for a certain project
• Setting achievable yet realistic targets for accounts/account managers based on performance in the preceding years, tracking achievement against plan over the year, weekly, bi-monthly, monthly, quarterly and yearly basis
• Provide support to account managers in developing ideas for long term strategic partnerships and consistent business
• Design SOPs and creating synergy between commercial and support teams
• Ensuring all business activities are risk-free and have a positive impact on the cash flow by raising red flags
• Take the lead on organizing the resources necessary to build the business in terms of accounts activation, managing destinations, and swap deals
• Makes presentations for the BD/management explaining means to meet sales goals and evaluate any innovative ideas that management may have
• Develop Key Account performance tracking reports for the management

Goal:

Passion for data ownership, curiosity and a deep interest in how numbers become decisions, an eye for data analytics/big data to convert a number into actionable intelligence 

Skills & Knowledge:

• MA/BA – Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, or MBA with analytics related focus/ other data analytics related degrees
• Basic understanding of Market Research, statistical modeling techniques, and applications
• Attention to detail while working on small and large data volumes
• Good and working knowledge of widely used statistical languages like R, Python, etc.
• Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint, or Power BI/ Tableau software Proactive and tenacious approach
• Facilitate marketing and outreach efforts, as necessary
• Prepare intelligence reports to analyze competition business and variances in expenditure and revenue
• Produce proposals (in excel, word, PowerPoint and in-design format) by aggregating inputs from the business development team and CEO
