Role and Responsibilities

Responsible to source, negotiate and purchase materials from both local and overseas vendors
Thorough knowledge of imports and related supply chain mechanism,
Evaluate vendor’s quotation to ensure that they are in line with the technical and commercial specifications required for the project/end user.
Advise internal and external stakeholders on issues regarding purchasing Terms & Conditions
Planning, issuing and following up on daily operational purchasing needs such as Purchase Orders delivery and shipment schedules.
Resolve supply, quality, service and invoicing issues with vendors
Responsible for maintaining the overall database of vendors and also updating new vendor profile.
Evaluate supplier performance based on quality standards, delivery time & best prices and ensure all the criteria are met according to the organizational requirements and expectation ·
Responsible for implementing internal procurement strategies to cater to high delivery and short lead time requirements
Undertake any other Adhoc duties as assigned Education & experience
Graduate from a reputed university (Business Graduate in supply chain will be preferred). ·
Should have working experience on ERP system for all matters related to supply chain and Inventory Management
Should have sufficient working experience on physical Inventory Management
Incumbent should have at least 2-3 years of project or end user procurement experience. ·

Hardworking and meticulous with positive attitude
Proficient in use of MS Office Suite and ERP systems

Able to work well under stress in a fast paced environment
