Job Description

The role is Inventory Analyst, and the focus of the role will be on managing our inventory that is held on a min/max strategy.  Some of the specific tasks that would be expected involve:

• Daily review and reporting on inventory managed through a min/max strategy to include:
  • Assessing any inventory on min/max that exceeds 15 days
  • Determining if min/max needs to be adjusted down
  • Communicating with account team on depletion plans
  • Requesting return authorization (RPO) when appropriate to return items to vendor
  • Identifying other configs that may have use for inventory that is aging
• Daily review of min/max inventory that is out of stock
  • Assessing if this is an anomaly or if settings need to be increased to meet SLAs
  • Communicating with sales team on needs
• Reviewing and recommending approvals or adjustments of requests for min/max allocations to include:
  • Analyzing run rates
  • Surveying like items in other configs
  • Checking availability in disty
  • Lead time verification
  • Communicating with requester when additional information is needed
