The company has been operating in Karachi since 2011, with many international clients across a wide range of industries.
The commercial work is undertaken in the UK, while some of the development work happens in Karachi.
Having our management team based in the UK means we are closer to our clients, ensuring the quality of work is always delivered to the highest standards.
We have an excellent commercial office in Shahrah-e-Faisal, and we are looking to add to our exciting team by employing a talented Lead Test Engineer.
We’re a friendly, close-knit team with a number of high-value, blue-chip clients.
Thanks to sustained growth, we are expanding our team and we now require a Test Lead to help us improve the testing methodology and mindset within the company.
As part of the development team, your day-to-day work will consist of working to build out the testing function throughout the company and assisting on current projects to embed testing thinking.
You will need to work concurrently on multiple projects, on which we’d want you to bring to bear your experience of testing at all levels and architectural layers.
This position is 50% strategic and 50% hands-on manual/automated testing initially.

Role and Responsibilities:

Software testing, ensuring adoption and development of appropriate testing practices including automated testing; integration and smoke testing; exploratory testing; performance and security testing.
Support and advise the Technical Director and development team in the adoption of continuous integration and code management.
Champion a collaborative, delivery-focused culture within a Kanban framework where QA Analysts and Developers work together to achieve goals.
Drive improvement in team productivity, agile processes and build methods to increase efficiency.
Ensure all software development meets security and data protection standards.

Experience:

A minimum of five years of experience in software testing in an enterprise-scale environment.
Demonstrated ability to successfully embed and develop build test and release processes.
A track record of collaborating and working effectively with colleagues in the wider business.
Prior experience with Agile methodologies.

.NET (microservices with Rest API methods) or other microservices platform
Azure PaaS / AWS / UKFast platform
NPM / Node / Yarn
PHPUnit / Codeception / SeleniumHQ / other E2E testing frameworks

Package:

Salary negotiable based on experience
+ Salary paid gross
+ 20% annual bonus
