Consultant is expected to perform the following responsibilities, but not limited to:

· Develop training modules according too relevant content and activities (English, Urdu, Math)o the level of the participantso training objectives

· Write multiple drafts of the modules

· Proofread the drafts multiple times

· Design lessons and activities

· Work with the graphic designer to create and finalize the design for the module.

· Prepare the modules and submit within the given deadlines

· Conduct presentations for the staff

· Facilitate in development of training material including teaching and learning material

· Record keeping

· Ensure and make efforts for safeguarding and other organization polices implementation in project area

ABES-Teacher Empowerment Centre – regional office of ABES was instituted in 1993 in Rawalpindi, working for the promotion of quality education in government and community schools. It exclusively focuses on improving the standard of teachers by providing quality in formal and non-formal primary education. ABES-TEC pioneered the concept of Joyful Learning and initiated Multi-grade Teaching System in Pakistan. It carries out various activities with I/NGOs, Teachers, Communities, Education Departments and Teachers’ Training Centres in all over the country. ABES-TEC’s project interventions revolve around the educational programme of the organization. The areas of work mainly included the components of project planning, field implementation, monitoring, capacity building, and materials development related to Early Childhood Education (ECE), primary formal and non-formal education, adult literacy (functional), Disaster Risk Reduction and social mobilization and community development.
