- Creating concise, eye-catching, and innovative headlines and body copy
- Determine the needs of end users of technical documentation.
- Responsible to generate digital content for blog posts, website & landing pages’ content, captions for social media posts, branding material and presentations
- Candidate must be responsible to research, conceptualize, and write compelling and SEO friendly content.
- Work with technical staff to make products easier to use and thus need fewer instructions.
- Plan, develop, organize, write and edit operational procedures and manuals
- Research, develop and document technical design specifications and test scripts
- Maintain a comprehensive library of technical terminology and documentation
- Analyze documents to maintain continuity of style of content
- Use photographs, drawings, diagrams, animation, and charts that increase users’ understanding.
- Select appropriate medium for message or audience, such as manuals or online videos.
- Standardize content across platforms and media.
- Gather usability feedback from customers, designers, and manufacturers.
- Play active part in building company's branding/marketing collateral.
- Study the software product in detail and talk with product designers and developers.
Requirements:
- 2 to 4 years of Proven experience working in a technical content writing position
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Able to write in explanatory and procedural styles for multiple audiences
- Skilled at prioritization and multi-tasking
- Adobe Photoshop and SEO tools experience will be a plus
