Verge’s source of revenue comes from the commissions they receive each month from T-Mobile, which is based on their commissionable sales. To ensure accuracy, Verge must validate and crosscheck T-Mobile’s commissionable sales data. A suitelet will be used to capture the sale information and create a sales transaction in NetSuite. These sales transactions will then be compared against T-Mobile’s sales to identify any discrepancies. Verge also requires a way to calculate sales commissions for their sales reps, which will be based on the alternate sales amount. The calculation of the alternate sales amount will occur on submit of the suitelet, so that it can be set at the line level of the sales order.
Verge requires an efficient way to create sales transactions in NetSuite to ensure accurate revenue for their business. The suitelet will capture all necessary information, so that the sales transaction can be created in NetSuite and the sales rep will receive accurate commissions.
A custom suitelet will need to be created to collect all the information pertaining to the sale.
