Amazon E-commerce Director

Lightning Quick LLC is looking for a results-driven Amazon E-commerce Director to lead and enhance our Amazon business operations. This full-time, fully remote role demands a strategic leader who is passionate about driving growth, operational excellence, and flawless execution across all facets of Amazon e-commerce. The successful candidate will manage daily operations, work closely with cross-functional teams, and implement innovative strategies to maintain a strong competitive position in the marketplace.

Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and optimize Amazon e-commerce operations to ensure high uptime, fast load times, and a seamless user experience.
- Stay informed on industry trends, algorithm updates, and best practices to sustain competitive advantage.
- Analyze sales data and customer behavior to identify growth opportunities and boost profitability.
- Collaborate with inventory, logistics, marketing, and customer support teams to ensure smooth end-to-end operations.
- Act as the hiring manager for the Amazon team, handling recruitment, onboarding, training, and performance management.
- Develop and implement training and cross-training programs to strengthen team capabilities in Amazon e-commerce operations.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, Amazon regulations, and legal e-commerce requirements.
- Conduct regular audits of product listings to maintain accuracy, optimization, and compliance.
- Prepare and present comprehensive reports on sales performance, operational challenges, and strategic solutions to senior leadership.
- Lead special projects and departmental initiatives, ensuring timely completion within tight deadlines.
- Collaborate with executive leadership to adopt new tools, technologies, and automation strategies that enhance efficiency and scalability.
- Drive continuous improvement by identifying and resolving operational bottlenecks.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the CEO, including special projects and urgent tasks.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is required; Master’s degree preferred.
- 4-5 years of experience in Amazon e-commerce operations, with strong expertise in inventory management, logistics, and fulfillment.
- Proven leadership experience managing and mentoring teams in a dynamic remote e-commerce environment.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and trends to formulate actionable business strategies.
- Deep understanding of e-commerce platforms, vendor management, and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Excellent critical thinking skills and a proactive approach to troubleshooting and optimizing operations.
- Strong interpersonal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
