AMS-Power’s IoT division is looking for potential candidates for the positions of Junior Engineer – IoT Systems, having a passion for technology, up-to-date knowledge, and hands-on experience with the following background & skillset:
Should possess the following:
· Adept at hardware design, and software development
· Circuit design and debugging
· PCB design and debugging
· Good command at common hardware design tools/applications like Eagle Altium etc..
· Strong knowledge about embedded systems fundamentals
· Embedded systems design, development, and debugging
· Microcontroller programming
· Programming in Python, C/C++, other
· Experience with clouds services like Amazon AWS, FireBase, Microsoft Azure etc.
· Good programming and software development practices
· · Previous experience with new product development is a plus
· · Knowledge about industrial automation & control is a plus
· · Experience with 3rd part automation & control equipment, software, and platforms is preferred
· · Excellent communication skills, especially in writing: design documents, bug reports, feasibilities studies etc.
· · Conduct studies to determine the feasibility, costs, or performance benefits of new mechatronic equipment
· · Sound knowledge of Arduino, Raspberry Pi, ARM platforms, Eagle etc.
Responsibilities:
You will be working on design, development, and implementation of new & exciting IoT and embedded systems.
· Circuit & PCB design, development, and implementation
· Software programs design & development
· Firmware development
· Product design & development
· Assist in app development for Android and iOS
· Implement or test the designed solutions. Conduct studies to determine the feasibility of different projects.
· Source materials/components from the market
· Coordinate with Suppliers & Vendors for procurement or research purposes.
· Liaison with potential customers
· Assist in marketing activities.
