Installing, configuring, and maintaining Windows-based servers. Back-end IT support for business-critical and development-related departments and personnel. Will be responsible to configure user access, maintain system stability, data security through deployment and migration.

Other Responsibilities: 

  •  Install and set up Windows systems and servers
  •  Develop servers and provide support to individual users to ensure that the system works reliably and quickly 
  • Provide technical support and guidance to users and other administrators
  • Works closely with IT departments and professionals to resolve issues with server performance and access
  • Install and maintain Windows-based programs for end users and help debug these applications so that they work with Windows servers
  • Perform System Maintenance
  • System maintenance activities, usually on the server back end
  • Review error logs and user-reported errors and identify stable and reliable solutions
  • Monitor System Performance
  • Maintaining Windows systems and servers
  • Monitor performance to reduce interruptions and server crashes
  • Monitoring daily traffic logs and reports with end users
  • Identifies potential issues or bugs affecting server performance
  • Maintain system security by noticing faults and vulnerabilities

  • Attempt searches upon typical end-user searches – verify they work properly
  • Audit server utilization (disk IO, disk space, CPU, etc.) and update baseline
  •  Support LANs, WANs, network segments, Internet, and intranet systems
  • Ensure the design of the system allows all components to work properly together
  • Make recommendations for future upgrade
  • Troubleshoot problems reported by users and analyze and isolate issues
  • Evaluate and modify the system’s performance 
  • Maintain network facilities in individual machines, such as drivers and settings of personal computers as well as printers
