• Assist CEO and SMF in developing and executing the audit plan, and take a lead role in the day to day execution of internal audits;

  • Contribute to the Internal Audit(IA)function by identifying risks associated with business objectives and evaluating the controls in place to mitigate those risks in order to improve the effectiveness of risk management control and governance processes

  • Provide value added advice and support to business on the creation or modification of policies, procedures, processes, products or services to ensure an appropriate level of internal control and compliance is maintained

  • Prepare and present reports that reflect audit’s results and documentprocess

  • Act as an objective source of independent advice to ensure validity,legality and goal achievement

  • Identify loopholes and recommend risk aversion measures and costsavings

  • Maintain open communication with management and audit committee

  • Document process and prepare audit findings memorandum

  • Conduct follow up audits to monitor management’s interventions

  • Collect and analyze data to detect deficient controls, duplicated effort,extravagance, fraud, or non-compliance with laws, regulations, andmanagement policies.

  • Report to management about asset utilization and audit results, andrecommend changes in operations and financial activities.

  • Prepare detailed reports on audit findings.

  • Review data about material assets, net worth, liabilities, capital stock,surplus, income, and expenditures.

  • Inspect account books and accounting systems for efficiency,effectiveness, and use of accepted accounting procedures to recordtransactions.

  • Examine and evaluate financial and information systems, recommendingcontrols to ensure system reliability and data integrity.

  • Any other duty assigned by management

  • Audit of each deptt/ process min twice in a year.
