- Provide administration and support of the SAP Basis Administration for SAP ERP, SAP Netweaver, SAP Enterprise Portal, SAP Solution Manager, and SAP Web Dispatcher
- Provide backup support to the database administrator
- Lead the SAP system copy activities: homogeneous and heterogeneous migration
- Lead the SAP client copy activities: export and import as required
- Review and respond to system monitoring alerts and alarms
- Maintain and configure the SAP GUI
- Assist with maintaining and supporting the SAP Fiori environment
- Monitor regularly scheduled server backup jobs
- Must have hands-on full cycle E2E SAP Project Implementation Experience and after Go-Live Support, experience using ASAP Methodology and SAP Solution Manager.
- Experience in SAP NW product integration; Solution Manager, PI, BI, Enterprise Portal Experience in Installation, Upgrades (Version Upgrade, EHP Upgrade, SPS installation, and Kernel Upgrades), DR Setup and Migration of SAP system. Knowledge of Solution Manager System is mandatory
- Should be able to create RFCs and configure TMS (Transport Management System), Monitor and manage the background of the server job and performance of the system and able to rectify any type of problem-related to SAP System Landscape.
- Must have good experience in System Security, Role Maintenance and Authorizations Experience in handling Incidents, Change Management, and Problem Management.
- Should have experience in Design, Maintain and upgrade SAP System Landscape. Implementing technical changes through SAP 3-tier system landscape.
- Perform User administration and role/profile assignment.
- Perform Role Creation, Modification and Full trouble shooting support for the users authorization failures in all SAP applications and resolving the Security issues and support in integration testing of Roles/Profiles.
- Maintain the integrity of the SAP environment by managing the SAP Correction and Transport System (CTS) to ensure all configuration and development objects are promoted properly.
- Distribute the online SAP user workload and monitor and manage the SAP background job workload.
- Perform OSS / SAP Service Marketplace: Searching notes & creating OSS messages for the respective queries to improve the Performance. And software download, Maintain System Data, License Key & Maintenance Certificate, Developer & object registrations and connection maintenance etc.
- Starting and Stopping SAP instance/(s).
- Preventive Maintenance activities - Support Pack/Plug-in implementations, Kernel upgrades, OSS note applications and to apply support pack for Java using JSPM.
- SAPGUI/SAPLGPAD troubleshooting and maintenance/upgrades/installations.
- Prepare and maintain system documentation, procedures, and standards.
- Perform SAP Database Administration – Space management, database reorganizations, design and implement backup and restore strategy, maintain database security, administer database performance, database problem determination and resolution, etc.
- Perform SAP Installation, Post installation, client administration, System Refresh and Post-Refresh activities as required.
- Perform parameter modification, Buffer, memory management, performance tuning and troubleshoot.
- Perform SAP Licensing – Indentify inactive user, user classification and prepare System Measurement result for SAP Global Audit team.
