Job Description

• Ascertia is hiring an experienced Front End Developer to work with Java Spring MVC Core application.
• The ideal candidate must have hands on experience of Angular, JQuery, Bootstrap, JSON HTTP and Ajax requests of 3 years.
• He should have a keen understanding of JavaScript/type script, design patterns and best practices as well as a keen eye for clean and elegant UI.
• He / She should additionally possess responsibility, leadership quality, and seeking new challenges, take initiatives, thinking out of the box, self-driven, self-motivated and be a good team player.
• Should have experience on enterprise level products.

Skills Required:

• Proficient understanding of client-side scripting and JavaScript frameworks Angular.
• Experience using Bootstrap 4+ framework and material design.
• Proficiency with JavaScript and HTML5, CSS, Table-less, responsive design
• Experience in handling of server-side CSS pre-processing platforms, such as LESS and SASS
• Deep knowledge of Angular practices and commonly used modules based on extensive work experience
• Creating self-contained, reusable, and testable modules and components
• Writing non-blocking code, and resorting to advanced techniques such as multi-threading
• Creating custom, general use modules and components which extend the elements and modules of Angular
• Extensive knowledge of CSS and JS methods for providing performant visual effects and keeping the framerate above 30fps at all times
• Thorough understanding of the responsibilities of the platform, database, API, caching layer, proxies, and other web services used in the system
• Good understanding of asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, and AJAX
• Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them
• Documenting the code inline using JSDoc or other conventions
• Writing extensive unit tests using automated TDD tasks
• Creating e2e test suites for all components, and running them with Protractor (or a well-reasoned alternative)
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git and SVN
• Knowledge of Java will be a plus
