We are looking for a passionate and energetic individual as an IT Support Officer for a renowned group of companies based in Lahore who maintains computer networks of all types, providing technical support and ensuring the whole company runs smoothly.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Help in Installing and configuring computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers, and scanners
- Assist in monitoring and maintaining computer systems and networks
- Responding in a timely manner to service issues and requests
- Assist in providing technical support across the company
- Setting up accounts for new users
- Assist in repairing and replacing equipment as necessary
- Act as the initial point of contact for all computer and system-related concerns from clients or other employees
- Troubleshoot/analyze computer systems to identify and eliminate performance bugs and hardware malfunction
- Organize and file documentation and instructional guides for computer hardware
- Maintain a working log detailed all required system updates, as well as date of completion
- Attend virtual meetings with clients to analyze, troubleshoot and diagnose hardware or software problems.
- Resolve technical issues related to network interruptions
- Actively update, maintain and monitor all aspects of computer networks
- Experience installing and configuring computer systems and applications
- Ensure the security of an organization’s IT database by performing backups and updating security protocol
- Professional written and interpersonal skills are essential when communicating with a co-worker, customers, and clients
- Maintain detailed reports listing requests to technical assistance, steps taken to resolve them
- Must maintain a log of ticket generation and problem-solving.
- Collaborate with programmers, developers, and designers to achieve set objectives
