The Assistant Manager Examination – Mathematics will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and integrity of Mathematics assessments across TCF schools. This position involves designing, reviewing, and refining examination papers and assessment tools that align with curriculum standards. The successful candidate will have a strong foundation in mathematical pedagogy, be skilled in data analysis, and work collaboratively with various departments to support ongoing academic improvement. Additionally, the role requires reviewing academic documents to ensure they meet TCF’s educational objectives and assessment criteria.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop high-quality, grade-appropriate Mathematics assessments for students, teachers, and principals.
- Monitor and evaluate Mathematics subject standards across TCF schools throughout the academic year.
- Stay informed about best practices in educational assessment and recommend innovative improvements to existing processes.
- Contribute to the continuous enhancement of examination frameworks and documentation protocols.
- Provide support to related units such as Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) and Federal departments as required.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree or a 4-year Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Mathematics.
- B.Ed. qualification is considered an additional advantage.
- Minimum of 3 years teaching experience as a Mathematics subject specialist.
- Strong conceptual and pedagogical understanding of Mathematics aligned with national curriculum standards.
- Familiarity with assessment frameworks, including Bloom’s taxonomy and curriculum mapping.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in data analysis, statistics, and reporting tools such as MS Excel and Power BI.
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in technology tools including MS Office, Google Suite, and internet research tools.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and work effectively under pressure.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and committed to maintaining academic integrity.
- Willingness to travel frequently for school visits.
