Autymate Software – Seeking Software QA (Quality Assurance) Engineer
Ready to use your QA skills for something great? Autymate, located in Lahore Pakistan, is seeking a Senior Software QA Tester for Web Applications and integration.
We are looking for a QA Tester to assess our Angular Web App through Manual and Automated Testing and our .Net Core Integrations with over 160 systems.
In this role, you should have a keen eye for detail and excellent English communication skills. If you are also competent in executing test cases and are passionate about quality, we’d like to meet you.
Ultimately, you will ensure that our products, applications, and systems work correctly.
Responsibilities:
- Review and analyze system specifications
- Creating test cases in Azure Boards (or TFS and Azure DevOps)
- Collaborate with Developers to develop effective strategies and test plans
- Execute test cases (manual or automated) and analyze results
- You will be a part of the development team and manage QA and will be a part of the daily SCRUM meetings.
- Evaluate product code according to specifications
- Create logs to document testing phases and defects
- Report bugs and errors to development teams
- Help troubleshoot issues
- Conduct post-release/ post-implementation testing
- Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle
Requirements:
- Experience as a QA tester or similar role
- Experience in QA methodology
- Familiarity with Agile frameworks and regression testing is a plus
- Ability to document and troubleshoot errors
- Working knowledge of test management software Azure DevOps Test Plans and SQL
- Strong SQL Experience to validate database results is a MUST.
- Excellent English communication skills

- Analytical mind and problem-solving aptitude
- Strong organizational skills
Preferred Experience:
- 2-4 years of similar experience as QA role
- Angular 2 Jasmine and Karma testing experience would be welcome
- C# .net Core XUnit Experience would be a very welcome
- Experience with front-end user/mobile page
- Knowledge of the eCommerce industry, QuickBooks, healthcare, and/or accounting & finance
- Experience working in an agile/scrum environment
- BS in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field
Experience:
- Software Quality Assurance Web Applications: 3-4 years (Preferred)
