- Liaison with technicians and manufacturers to ensure the feasibility of a product in terms of design and economic viability.
- Working closely with other medical professionals, such as doctors and therapists as well as with end-users (patients and their carers)
- Repair, install, maintain, calibrate and inspect medical equipment.
- Maintaining record of all the inspection/installation reports.
- Evaluate the safety, efficiency, and effectiveness of biomedical equipment.
- Training the end users and other personnel on the use and maintenance of equipment.
