Mobile App Developer

What your responsibilities will be:

Building new apps to complement our rich enterprise web application suite
Maintaining our existing iOS and Android apps (they're written in Swift and Java)
Developing and owning our mobile technology strategy
Encourage innovation and a warm, constructive and collaborative environment
Think laterally to solve technical challenges potentially with new technologies

Essential Criteria

1+ years experience building native applications for iOS and Android
Strong understanding of web services and API-backed mobile app development
Know what OAuth is and how to use it securely
Comfortable operating in a Git-based development workflow (Git, JIRA, Bitbucket)
Experience within the full app development lifecycle

Desirable Criteria

Experience with automated testing (unit tests, functional tests, acceptance tests)
Experience with React Native and/or Xamarin
Relevant tertiary education
Experience building cloud solutions on AWS or Azure
Experience working with payment gateways/APIs
Experience in designing secure systems and strong information security fundamentals would be highly regarded
