Job Description

Cashycart is looking for an Expert SEO Senior Level Strategist, who will be responsible to set up and manage a new SEO Department consisting of atleast 2 professionals directly reporting to him/her.

The Strategist will be responsible for leading organic media programs for inhouse and client projects, with primary emphasis on SEO, content marketing, and data analysis. The candidate should also be able to design posts for social media platforms including twitter, linkedin, instagaram and facebook. Must have experience in PPC Google AdWords.

The candidate will be responsible for defining search strategies for clients n inhouse program activities, and driving performance as a leader within our organic search department. Responsibilities will include:

Responsibilities:

  • Translate client and inhouse objectives into effective search marketing strategies
  • Define measurable acquisition-based keyword and content strategies for Cashycart SEO & social media clients
  • Provide advanced analysis and recommendations to support effective site accessibility and indexation (technical SEO expertise)
  • Deliver detailed and analytical site performance reporting insights and organic online marketing recommendations
  • Consulting and analysis around all aspects of SEO, including competitive research, technical SEO, web presence optimization, site structure, link acquisition strategies, measurement and performance, and content strategy
  • Act as primary client contact, providing education for clients around SEO strategies, tactics, deliverables, and performance
  • Lead (and inspire) a team of 1-3 members in the execution of client organic search and social media programs Stay up to date on current SEO industry trends and technologies, and communicate these trends to clients and the Cashycart Team.
  • A basic understanding of paid media and how SEO can help support overall marketing efforts
  • Be familiar with social listening and how it can help drive content strategy
  • Support new business efforts, being able to speak to all DRIVE services (SEM, SEO and social media)
  • Support direct reports in reporting and status calls as necessary
  • Research new SEO tools and recommend use of those tools.
  • Manage workflow of junior team members to ensure deliverables are out on time
  • Execute link-building initiatives by identifying potential link targets and conducting outreach.
  • Provide strong input to design / development teams for the purposes of maximizing the customer experience.
  •  Recommend changes to website architecture, content, linking and other factors to improve SEO positions for target keywords.

    Track, analyze, and act on appropriate KPI’s, as required to achieve revenue goals through traffic, conversion and other milestone objectives.

  • Continuously developing digital marketing abilities via on the job experience, independent research, individual and team training.  Serve as the company thought leader on the topic of search.  Stay abreast of and work with signal / algorithm changes.
  • Identify structural updates for websites, landing pages and blogs that will enhance ability for search engines to index and understand both content and purpose.
  • Perform SEO site audits and identify specific areas for on-site SEO improvement.
  • Being a supportive member of a team that is always willing to help each other solve problems.

  • Strong organizational skills with ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Self-starter who demonstrates strong initiative, sense of urgency, and intellectual curiosity while maintaining a focus on identifying opportunities to improve marketing performance.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors or advanced degree in marketing, advertising, communications, business, or a related area
  • Strong understanding of foundational marketing principles
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, a positive attitude and the ability to thrive in a collaborative and fast-paced environment
  • Impeccable project management and organization skills, ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects
  • Strong proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite: Word, PowerPoint, and especially Excel
  • Advanced understanding and experienced user of Google Analytics and AdWords Keyword Planner
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of HTML, Javascript and CSS as they impact search accessibility
  • Experience using key industry search tools and platforms (Conductor Searchlight, SEMRush, Moz, Ahrefs, etc.)
  • 3-7 years or more of experience leading impactful SEO/organic search programs, preferably in an agency setting
