We are looking for an Accounts and Admin Officer to join our team. A successful Accounts and admin Officer will act as the point of contact for all employees, providing accounting and administrative support and managing queries. If you have previous experience in similar role, we’d like to meet you.


Ultimately, you should be able to ensure our accounting and administrative activities run smoothly on a daily and long-term basis.


Responsibilities



  • Manage office supplies stock and place orders, looking at procurements

  • Prepare regular reports on expenses and office budgets

  • Bank Dealings and any outside work assigned

  • Maintain and update company databases

  • Organize a filing system for important and confidential company documents

  • Answer queries by employees and clients

  • Update office policies as needed

  • Distribute and store correspondence (e.g. letters, emails and packages)

  • Prepare reports and presentations with statistical data, as assigned

  • Arrange travel and accommodations

  • Schedule in-house and external events

  • Managing records and receipts

  • Reconciling daily, weekly, monthly and yearly transactions

  • Processing invoices

  • Any other work assigned by management


Requirements


 



  • Proven work experience as an Administrative Officer and Accounts officer

  • Solid knowledge of office procedures

  • Expertise with Cloud based Accounting software (Working on Sage is a Plus)

  • Having 1 to 2 years of experience in handling accounts and admin work (Ecommerce company is a plus)

  • Experience with office management software like MS Office (MS Excel and MS Word, specifically)

  • Strong organization skills with a problem-solving attitude

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Attention to detail
