Ciklum is in search of MSSQL database administrator with 5+ years of administration & performance tuning experience in an OLTP environment.

The DBA will be primary responsible for tuning application query/SQL performance in dev, test and prod environments. Addiitonally, the resource will be responsible for administration of MSSQL server installations.

TECHNICAL EXPERTISE PRIMARY

- Diagnose slow running SQL based on execution plans, indexes & statistics (cpu, disk, etc) using MSSQL tools

- Identify and resolve SQL bottlenecks

- Work proactively with developers to establish well performing queries

- Work proactively with developers to establish well performing datamodels

TECHNICAL EXPERTISE SECONDARY

- Administrate Always On AG setup

- Keep environment up to date with patches and servicepacks

- Identify & resolve issues in the environment
