SEARCH is a non-profit, non-governmental and non-political Swabi based local organization, working in areas of livelihoods and vocational skill trainings, education, health, community development, awareness raising, advocacy and research to identify and explore gapes in sustainable development and to help address the unmet needs of marginalized and deserving communities, both Pakistanis and Afghan refugees for bringing them into the mainstream of development irrespective of the religion, color, clan, sex, and creed.
SEARCH strongly believes in participatory approaches to development and keep involve all stakeholders of the targeted community, for advocacy and research programs to ensure quality, transparency, social cohesiveness and sustainability of the interventions. For this purpose SEARCH has got the support of competent development practitioners and research scholars in fields of Education, Health, Livelihoods, Agriculture, Livestock, NRM, infrastructure, training\'s, business enterprise, M&E, assessment and surveys, emergency, relief, reconstruction and rehabilitation.
SEARCH was established in 2008 and registered in October 2010 under Registration and Control Ordinance 1961 (XLVI of 1961) Government of Pakistan.
