Shan Engineers was established in 1982 and was reorganized in 1987. On July, 1995 the company was reshaped once again. Shan Enginners and Grand Impex Engineering was merged together and company was converted into a limited concern by the name Shan Controls Pvt. Ltd.

Today, as always the largest business of the company is still focused on the original purpose or providing the products and services for managing energy, comfort and protection in non-residential buildings.
