Job Description:

We are looking for a IoT Signal+Power Integrity Engineer for designing and developing power supply and management circuits. You will be part of the team responsible for the design and development of electronic/wearable devices manufactured by Cross Analytics.

We need a passionate engineer with interest in power management of low power operating devices. You will be responsible for the design of a robust power management architecture for real-time systems to ensure high reliability in critical devices. In-depth understanding of the battery types used in small wearable devices, their charging characteristics, their behavior against temperature variation, safety limits and different charging circuits is highly desirable. You will face optimization challenges related to:

Power consumption
Charging
Heat dissipation
Design of circuits for end-use in wearable devices

You will be involved in:

Digital and analog circuit design, PCB layout, board bring-up, SMT rework
Power electronics and voltage regulation
Thermal management
Search and compare vendor based battery management systems
Development/integration of device charging and power regulation modules

Specification

Job Requirements:

As the ideal candidate for this position, you:

Have a genuine interest, passion and motivation for Wearable and IoT devices
Have a strong academic background, BE/BS in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering
Have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Knowledge of analog PMIC or PMU power system or circuit design experience
Knowledge of PCB designing with prime focus on size optimization/small form factor, signal noise shielding and multi-layer designing
Hands-on lab experience
