Responsibilities:
- Understand the code, its dependencies and the infrastructure.
- Build and maintain systems that will monitor all aspects of the application and infrastructure.
- Collaborate with the development teams to deploy and manage tools that support SDLC automation, configuration management and release management.
- Assist in deployment strategy and capacity planning across development, QA, staging and production environments.
- Work on continuous integration, building pipelines and tracking bugs.
- Manage CI/CD pipelines, individual project priorities, deadlines and deliverables.
- Administer Azure DevOps Server.
Minimum qualifications:
- BS degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering.
- Strong CMMI/ISO concepts.
- Proficient in scripting in one or more scripting languages: Ruby, Perl, Bash, PowerShell and Python.
- Understanding of any of the following tools:
- Source control tools including: Team Foundation Server, Git, CVN, Source Safe and Mercurial.
- Infrastructure automation tools: Chef, Puppet, Terraform, Ansible.
Preferred qualifications:
- IT healthcare domain knowledge will be preferable.
- O/A levels background will be preferred.
- Hands-on experience of Azure or AWS.
- Knowledge for networking technologies which includes; DNS, Load Balancing, SSL, TCP/IP and networking security.
- Experience of using the following tools:
- Automated test tools: Selenium, Visual Test/Studio
- Integration tools: Jenkins, TeamCity, Bamboo
- Delivery tools: Jenkins Octopus Deploy
- Any of the following certifications will be a plus:
- DevOps Foundation Certification
- Azure Administrator Associate
- Microsoft Certified: Azure DevOps Engineer Expert
- Automation with Ansible and Ansible Tower
- Certified Agile manager
- DevOps Solution Architect (Microsoft)
- Working experience in a wide variety of databases, including both relational databases (RDBMS) and NoSQL.
Required Skills:
- Best coding and scripting practices
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipeline
- Unit testing skills
- Excellent OOP skills
- Knowledge of Monitoring
- Strong interpersonal skills which include written and verbal English.
- Good problem-solving skills
