- Design, develop, test, support and deploy desktop, custom web, and mobile applications
- Gather customer software requirements and develop related software applications and programs
- Research and evaluate software related technologies and products
- Design and develop testing and maintenance procedures and activities
- Develop and write high quality coding that meets customer requirements
- Create software documentation and update existing documentation
- Implement best practices, standards and procedures including quality and delivery methodologies
- Ensure compliance with the documented software processes and procedures throughout the life cycle of software products
- Help identify and solve frontend web development issues experienced by customers
- Working with the clients, business analysts and other support developers, you will identify the root cause of problems in source code
- Propose and implement fixes, provide workarounds, design and develop system enhancements, and deploy system changes in a Test/Production environment
- Take ownership of issues and tasks to ensure they are completed in a timely and efficient manner, while ensuring high levels of end-user/client satisfaction
- Assist and support other team members on multiple projects
SKills Requirement:
- Proven experience as a .NET Developer or Application Developer
- Familiarity with the ASP.NET framework, SQL Server and design/architectural patterns (e.g. Model-View-Controller (MVC))
- Knowledge of at least one of the .NET languages (e.g. C#, Visual Basic .NET) and HTML5
- Experience with Javascript / JQuery, CSS and Bootstrap.
- Familiarity with architecture styles/APIs (REST, RPC)
- Understanding of Agile methodologies
- Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills
- Attention to detail
- Qualification: BSc/BCS/BCIT/BSCS
