Major job responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Administration of server instances running Linux OS.
- Managing AWS and other Cloud Services.
- CI/CD of web applications running on LAMP architecture.
- Apply OS patches and upgrades on a regular basis, and upgrade administrative tools and utilities. Configure / add new services as necessary.
- Perform ongoing performance tuning, resource upgrades/scaling and optimizations as required.
- Perform daily backup operations, Perform regular file archival and purge as necessary.
- Monitor network to ensure 24x/7 availability to all running systems.
- Willing to provide local Network/Desktop support to the office users.
Skills:
- Linux (Ubuntu, CentOS) administration.
- Network and system support.AWS and other cloud services.
- GitLAB/SVN.
- Scripting skills in Bash.
- MySQL database administration.
- Installation, administration and securing web servers e.g Apache, Nginx.
- Desktop and Technical Support for Windows and MacOS.
