Job brief
We are looking for a Java Developer with 3 to 5 years of experience in building high-performing, scalable, enterprise-grade applications. You will be a part of a software team that works on mission-critical applications. Java developer roles and responsibilities include managing Java EE application development while providing expertise in the full software development lifecycle, from concept and design to testing.
What you’ll do
- Java developer responsibilities include designing and developing high-volume, low-latency applications for mission-critical systems and delivering high-availability and performance
- Contribute in all phases of the development lifecycle
- Write well designed, testable, efficient code
- Ensure designs are in compliance with specifications
- Prepare and produce releases of software components
- Support continuous improvement by investigating alternatives and technologies and presenting these for architectural review
- Understanding and execution of Scrum methodology
- Hold the ability to support and work with self-organizing teams
What we are looking for
- 3-5 years of experience as a Java Developer
- Object Oriented analysis and design using common design patterns.
- Experience in financial applications and branchless banking preferred
- Hands on experience of 8, Web Services, Spring Boot + REST + Hibernate/JPA.
- Micro services
- Scripting in Jenkins
- TDD, BDD and CI/CD
- Jira/ Confluence
- MySQL (or any other relational DB)
- JSON Schema
- BS in computer science, engineering or relevant field
