We are looking for a skilled Shopify Front End Developer to join our team. As a Shopify Front-End Developer, you will be responsible for building and maintaining the client-side of our Shopify e-commerce platform. Your primary focus will be on developing user interface components and implementing them using DOM manipulation, asynchronous JavaScript, complex CSS, Vue.js, and metafields.
Responsibilities:
- Developing and customizing Shopify themes using DOM manipulation, async JavaScript, complex CSS, Vue.js, liquid, and metafields.
- Ensuring the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs and optimizing them for maximum speed and scalability.
- Building reusable code and libraries for future use. Collaborating with the development team to ensure the timely completion of projects.
- Staying up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies and applying them to the development process.
Requirements:
- Proven work experience as a Shopify Front-End Developer.
- Strong understanding of Shopify's liquid templating language and Shopify's front-end development environment.
- Proficiency in DOM manipulation, async JavaScript, complex CSS, Vue.js, Liquid, and metafields.
- Familiarity with Shopify Plus features, including script tags, metafields, and checkout customization.
- Experience with responsive design and cross-browser compatibility.
- Understanding of SEO principles and how they relate to front-end development.
- Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
