Key Responsibilities: The Senior surveyor who reports to the P.D is the person who is supposed to make a precise measurement for the plots & lands at the site that will identify the boundary plot coordinates. Senior Surveyor help should be able to provide a unique contour on the surface of the project land which will result to conduct the required maps/layouts for construction projects , detail of responsibilities summarized below:
- The surveyor has to measure the distance and the angles between specific points on the earth’s surface using the proper techniques & equipment ( total station ).
- Based on reference points, certain important features points are located by going to locations.
- Detailed research should be carried out on the records related to the land, survey, and the titles of the land.
- Ensuring that The project boundary lines are to be located by searching for the past boundary present at the site & providing the benchmarks.
- Following up & recheck the consultant’s & contractor’s surveyors during the construction process.
- Based on the surveyed records plots, and maps, the respective reports of the surveyed site should be prepared.
- Capable to provide The findings obtained from the surveying & to be presented to the client and the respective government agencies if needed.
- To be very well aware of the survey techniques & tools required to conduct a complete topography for land survey.
