We are looking for full time Principal Software Engineer / Software Development Manager.

You will lead a team of amazing developers to improve the developers’ & employer experience.
The incumbent will be responsible for leading the technical design and implementation of software systems using modern, industry-standard patterns, practices, and technology.
Meeting with technology managers to determine application and website requirements.
Upgrading existing .NET websites and applications.
Must have experience in .Net Core, MVC, Micro services, Entity Framework, Vue JS (or other JS frameworks like React or Angular).
Previous experience of working in Oauth 2.0, JWT Authentication, Onion Architecture, Hangfire and CQRS Pattern is highly preferable.
Strong ability to coach developers, helping them improve their skills and grow their careers
Work to remain abreast with latest trends and gain technical knowledge relevant to the service line, involving various Software Development and Management tools, technologies, processes and methodologies. Provide strong team leadership throughout the entire software development lifecycle.
Drafting software and application operating procedures. Build capabilities and functionality in application which is scalable and extensible
Understanding projects and tasks from a high and detailed level. Lead a team of software engineers in implementing high quality services including design, development, and deployment of new business functionality.
Allocate available resources to meet operating objectives. Interact with direct reports, customers and peers to share information and improve cross-departmental processes.
Perform routine personnel management activities to improve employee satisfaction, performance and professional development.
Ensure a strong cohesive team through leadership, on boarding of new personnel, setting expectations, and providing constructive performance feedback
Management of multiple priorities and deadlines specified by the higher management
Encourage innovative solutions around business asks and manage risks to create predictability of software releases while improving quality of the code
Project management of key projects ensuring that milestones and deliverables are achieved

Qualification/experience:

BS/MS in Computer Science/Information Technology or software engineering
Any degree or certification in Project Management would be an added advantage
At least 7 years' experience performing in a functional role in the software development industry, ideally as a hands-on practitioner of Software Development.
At least 4 years' experience performing in a team lead or team management role, involving
Delivery of technical mentorship and personnel management oversight to senior, intermediate and junior level resources;
Responsibility for delivery on individual and overall team tasks, goals and deadlines;
Performance of a decision-making role in technical recruitment and selection activities;
Knowledge of .NET languages and frameworks including C#, Entity Framework, Micro services and .net core.
Excellent problem-solving skills (To-do attitude)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to present ideas and proposals in a succinct and persuasive manner, at varying levels of abstraction, to technical, managerial and client audiences.
Knowledge of Agile/Scrum processes/DevOps methodology
