Junior Business Development Officer

  • Voltro is looking for a Business Development Representative to act as the liaison between our prospective clients and sales teams.
  • Your role will be to seek new business opportunities by contacting and developing relationships with potential customers.
  • To be successful in this role, you should have previous experience developing leads and meeting sales quotas.
  • You will use your communication skills to cultivate strong relationships with customers, from first contact until we close the deal.

Responsibilities

  • Contact potential clients through cold calls, emails and other social mediums.
  • Present our company to potential clients
  • Identify client needs and suggest appropriate products/services
  • Proactively seek new business opportunities in the market
  • Make a minimum of 70 – 80 calls a day in efforts to achieve weekly targets.
  • Set up meetings or calls between (prospective) clients and Sales Managers
  • Report to the Business Development Manager on (weekly/monthly/quarterly) sales results
  • Stay up-to-date with the marketing needs / trends to place our products better.

 

Requirements

  • Excellent phone, writing, and listening skills
  • At least two years of professional experience interacting and
  • selling to C-level executives in the US business market.
  • Understanding of Marketing needs for online businesses.
  • Hands-on experience with multiple sales techniques (other than
  • cold calls and emails)
  • Track record of achieving sales quotas
  • Familiarity with MS Excel (analyzing spreadsheets and charts)
  • Understanding of sales performance metrics
  • Relevant experience with B.A. or MBA in relevant field.
