FINJA Lending Services Limited is looking to recruit for a Credit Analyst who will ensure robust screening/due diligence process is positioned for lending segments & to minimize credit losses as well as portfolio management.
Main Responsibilities:
- Loan screening and under-writing as per the defined policies mitigating all possible risks.
- Coordinate with business, operations and other stakeholders for the resolution of discrepancies, case follow ups & resolutions.
- Assist in carrying out periodic reviews to highlight process gaps and violations.
- Constructive feedback to reinvent method of loan disbursement based on learning taken from existing loan behaviors.
- Ensure prevention controls and monitoring processes are well in place for existing products as well as prior to the launch of new products or process.
- Ensure to mitigate all possible risks pertaining to all lending segments. Ensure proper controls are suggested and implemented in different processes to minimize credit risk & frauds.
- Also conducting external surprise visits as & when required such as agents, merchants and other locations in order to complete review/case investigation.
- Formulate, update and maintain MIS of all lending cases reviewed and declined or processed.
The Ideal candidate should have:
- Experience of risk management in the financial services industry is essential.
- Proven leadership skills.
- Sound communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Strong sense of accountability and Integrity
- Ability to work with multiple and tight deadlines with a commitment to quality, accuracy and attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
