We’re looking for a highly-driven and motivated Head of Business Development for our team in Pakistan. If you are looking for a place where you can gain hands-on exposure and have a direct impact, then this may be the place for you!

The ideal candidate will have a track record as a significant individual contributor – comfortable working independently, whilst working closely with the management team. This role will be based in Pakistan and will report to the Commercial Director.

About the job:

As Head of Business Development , you will be responsible for expansion into new cities, while running the day to day operations for your specific vertical:

Responsibilities:

Responsible for strategically planning and managing the expansion of foodpanda footprint across Pakistan.
Build short term and long term strategy for expansion, Identify and analyze opportunities for expansion of foodpanda.
Ensure smooth execution and launch of the city and meet goals before handing over the city to HoS & HoAM.
Manage and develop a team of talented Expansion Associates.
Be both data-sensitive and sales-minded
Strong knowledge of all aspects of the foodpanda business model and the online food ordering market.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or relevant.
Has an acute sense of responsibility and can take full ownership of the function.
You have at least 5+ years of work experience in a similar role
You are process-oriented and data-driven
Experience with Microsoft Office, especially Excel, or Google equivalents
Your knowledge of the internet and e-commerce sector is solid
You are driven and ambitious.
You are very proactive and could lead independent projects.
Has the ability to perform root cause analysis and build process flows.
You’re very detail oriented and pay attention to all the steps in the process.
